Rudy Rodríguez, Jr. is Executive Vice President, Chief Legal and Human Resources Officer, and Corporate Secretary of CEC Entertainment, Inc., which has over 17,000 employees in more than 750 Chuck E. Cheese’s and Peter Piper Pizza restaurants in 47 states and 12 foreign countries or territories. Rudy’s legal organization provides strategic legal business advice to the Company’s Board of Directors, officers, and managers. Rudy also leads the Total Rewards (Compensation, Benefits, HRIS), HR Compliance and Corporate and Field Human Resources functions; as well as the Company’s Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Licensing teams.
A graduate of Texas A&M University and Harvard Law School, Rudy has practiced commercial and employment litigation at several Dallas, Texas law firms, as well as for the legal departments of American Airlines and J.C. Penney Corporation. He was Vice President and General Counsel of American Eagle Airlines from 2000 to 2003. He serves on the boards of directors of the Dallas Zoological Society, the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel, is President of the Denton High School Family Assistance Foundation, and is active in several other industry and legal organizations. Rudy lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Stacy (who is an Executive Assistant City Attorney with the City of Dallas), and they have two children, Grace and Jimmy.
