JP worked at AOS (an SES-GS company), Raytheon and GTE for a wide variety of customers which include the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, Washington DC City Government, Georgetown University Medical Center, the International Monetary Fund, and the US Mint. At Systems Plus, JP was promoted to Information Assurance Practice Manager where he with created the corporate Information Assurance strategy and customer security consulting services. JP provided guidance to the Chief Executive Officer in corporate information security governance and enterprise security management challenges. JP was also responsible for the security engineering response to several Request for Proposals (RFP) and Information (RFI). His management of contract security projects was the basis for the corporate Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 2 achievement.
JP possesses experience in the development of partnerships and alliances with vendors for client solutions as well as his service as a trusted advisor to corporate leaders in the development and implementation of information security programs. JP assisted corporate senior management with the development and implementation of security policies while fostering a corporate cyber-security awareness culture within companies. Mr. Hill is a veteran of the US Navy with service as a Cryptologic Technician and a recipient of a Letter of Appreciation from President George Bush.
JP holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cyber Security (Information Technology) from Potomac College and a Master of Science Degree in Information Assurance from Capitol College. He also has a Network Protection Graduate Certificate, an Information Assurance Administration Graduate Certificate, and a National Security Agency (NSA)/The Committee on National Security Systems (CNNS) Network Security Graduate Certificate from Capitol College.
